Travlr Co. was born out of a desire to create solutions for budget travelers. Our goal is to make it easier for travelers to have a safe, stress-free journey–even if they are on an extremely tight budget. Travel is still wrought with unnecessary hassles that detract from the journey itself and everything it has to offer. Valuable time is spent doing research on the myriad of services and information required; including but not limited to: transportation options, connection with other travelers and to events/activities. Budget transportation can be the most difficult thing to arrange, especially to places that are not serviced by public transportation. Our goal is to build products that put many travel hassles in the past.

Products

Hovr: a carpooling app that connects you with people already planning to travel a similar route or to the same place, willing to sell you a seat in their vehicle for a reasonable fee. The driver sets the price. This is already a popular mode of travel all across Europe, and for good reason. It’s more comfortable, faster, and cheaper than most trains, and provides private-driver level service at bus level fares. Since the driver is already going from point A to point B (and they are not a taxi) its better for the environment and roadway congestion.
